Only use Verizon , unless you can't. Then get AT&T . iPhone. As much as I love palm. They killed them selves with that new CEO. Go with iPhone.

Ok we already have AT&T so we will probably stick with that and get an iphone..
Now what to we need to look for in that? We have never had any smart phones or anything...
And should we jailbreak it? Not that we even know what that is... #LowTech

The iPhone is definitely the way to go. I just upgraded to the 4S. Shit is slammin. I have 3 phone numbers routed to the one phone... 5 email accounts that push right to the phone... Twitter on blast... instant messaging... RSS Feeds... shit is wild. At the moment, there is no public jailbreak for the 4S, but it's on it's way & I'm retardedly excited. I've been jailbreaking for years, and as you know, I'm a huge advocate of it. Apple has a strict set of guidelines for what they allow into their app store, and in turn, what software you can add to your phone. When you jailbreak, you get a 2nd "Underground" app store called CYDIA, which is home to all the apps & tweaks that Apple doesn't approve of for one reason or another. There's some seriously wild shit in there. Once you have Cydia installed, you can install another super-underground app store called INSTALLOUS which hosts cracked versions of paid official Apple App Store apps for FREE. This is a huge draw for a a lot jailbreakers. Also, a jailbreaked iphone can be carrier unlocked for use on any network. And, a jailbreaked phone can be used as a USB storage device. So- yeah- get an iphone, and jailbreak it. WoopDeeDoop! Attachments:

Ok so we currently have an AT&T Go Phone.. We pay a flat rate of $50 unlimited talk & text, no contract.
We want to upgrade to a 4s iPhone and keep the same number, or just get whole new plan and phone and keep the old one too.
Where should we go to do all this? Somewhere like Best Buy or an AT&T store? Want to do this soon...
Also anyone know of any good sales with the holidays coming?
