About to cop a wireless router finally... between 3 gaming systems a couple laptop and now a few 3g 4g phones think it is time to do away with the cords...

Is there anything we need to know ahead of time about these things? Like what is a good kind... Is there speeds or basically any #'s we need to look for? Thanks

We got a free wireless gateway from xfinity and paid the extra $10/mo for an upgrade from 15/15 to 25/25. So we are setting it all up now!
